We are all capable of a rich and life-giving spiritual connection to God. We've made the search for spirituality harder than it needs to be.

I have been a deeply spiritual person for all of my life. I am a Christian but have the highest regard and appreciation for all spiritual paths.

 

I am open and inclusive of all LGBTQIA people and others who often find themselves  outside of the mainline denominations.

 

It is my deepest desire to hold sacred space with children and adults who find themselves in the midst of pain, rejection, loss and grief. And to help people who are seeking a deeper relationship with God discover it.

 

​I graduated from Miami University, Oxford, Ohio where I received my B.A. and I earned both my M.Div. and D.Min. degrees from United Theological Seminary. My doctoral work focused on designing a model of healing for children.

​

I am an ordained minister in the United Methodist Church and was the founder of a non-profit, First Steps Spirituality Center.

I travel nationally and internationally leading retreats, workshops and training events and consulting with various organizations such as schools, hospitals, funeral homes, malls, churches, hospices and wherever there is a need to help children and adults thrive and become the people God has created them to be.

I currently work at Christ Church UM, Louisville KY, with our ministries for children and teens, ages 0-18years and I also  serve as the online minister.
